The short version

Text you type into any hashing, salting, or lookup tool on this site is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to us or stored by us. We do not operate a server-side database of tool inputs. Separately, this site may use third-party advertising and analytics services that collect limited data about your visit — described below.

What we do not collect

  • Passwords, text, or any other value you type into a hash, salt, or verifier field.
  • Any hash you generate or look up.

None of the above is sent to any server operated by us. You can confirm this independently using your browser's network inspector while using any tool on this site.

What third-party services may collect

Like most free websites, HashForge may display advertising served by Google AdSense and may use an analytics service to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These third parties may set cookies or use similar technologies (such as device identifiers) to:

  • Serve ads, including personalized ads based on your prior activity across websites, unless you've opted out.
  • Measure ad performance and site traffic in aggregate.
